Very very good for audio and video accessories

Bought this antenna because my other one didn't have an adjustable tip. And it's very thin, I thought the thing couldn't be hard, and today, without really thinking, I pulled into my garage with the antenna on, and it didn't break, and I don't have a spring on my mount, it has made a hole in the garage door. My only complaint is that the swr was slightly larger.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Negative experience

Good antenna! best car electronics accessory

I've had several Firestik antennas and haven't had any problems yet. They have good reception and are easy to set with an SWR meter. I mounted it on my Jeep on a tire rack and it barely protrudes above the roof rack, but I still get good reception even from a distance. I like that this weight is lighter but still thick.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Great whip for the city or trees.

Great antenna for city running and trails with low branches. .Make small movements on the screw. The shorter the antenna, the greater the matching difference. I installed a Jeep JK on the tailgate and it turned out to be a 1.2. The tailgate is glued to the body, the bonnet is glued to the body and all 4 corners are glued to the frame. and grounding are different.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Faulty

SWR can be difficult (updated).

Quality materials. However, the lowest SWR I could achieve for my application (front driver's hood) was 1.44 in the middle band (CH20), 2.1 in the outer bands (CH1 and CH40). These readings were obtained using a high quality antenna analyzer (RigExpert AA-54). ).The antenna is well grounded and 65% of the antenna is above the vehicle. This may be user error. However, I expected this product to hold its own. All in all I am satisfied with my purchase. I could buy 4ft for my application. UPDATE…

Great for Jeep Wrangler

I use this on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK. It works great and is very easy to set up. I get excellent SWR readings and excellent reception. Looks great too. I've used it with my Midland 75-822 CB and have no problem getting good reception in jeeps or even on the freeway when truckers complain. At the top is a screw that aligns the antenna. your KB It was much easier than cutting the antenna as is done with other antennas. ************************************** ********** **…

antenna firestick. Scrap

I have been using CB radios since 1971, my whole family are truckers and totally dependent on truck driving, timely deliveries and having a CB radio in the cab of all my trucks to smear their deliveries on time. My first radio was a Realistic Mini 23 (cheap Radio Shack) installed on a Mack Model 65B. I'm 67 years old and not politically correct, an ace is an ace. I've always used everything and recently used K-40 with no problems, then I saw your advert for the famous Firestick. Bought 2 and…
