🏍️ Black FirstGear Kilimanjaro Men's Motorcycle Boots - Size 10 Review

Very good boots I wear 9.5 and the 10s I ordered fit well. Hard boot, needs time to break in. Very protective boot. I came back thinking I would love this style of boots. These would be great walking shoes.

Comfortable, warm, I didn't have time to check the waterproofness. The screw that attached the ratchet to the right boot fell out a week after wearing it. An email to firstgear asking for a replacement or just the specs of the prop so I can find a replacement went unanswered. Came back there will be spring for higher quality boot.

I ordered them by mistake and decided to take a risk. The screws were actually loose in the ratchet system. I took them off and smeared them with Loctite. The screw is a 1/2" metric screw with a size of 1.3mm. I'm not sure of the actual thread sizes. You can also put a drop of hot glue or bath sealer on the screw to keep it from falling out. that die Boots are well made and definitely one size bigger.

On my first ride, the ratchet mechanism of the binding system failed without damaging the shoe. The central screw fell out and was lost. No response from FirstGear-USA after several attempts to contact them through their website. Very disappointing. Avoid this product and this manufacturer. If your seller doesn't give you a money-back guarantee, don't expect the manufacturer to fix you. Prove me wrong and I will remove this bad review.
