Cuts well but the lack of a lock to keep the blade in place during storage and transport is unacceptable. The cutting arm is spring loaded so any tilt of the board beyond horizontal will cause the arm to tilt up exposing the blade. The cutting arm opens fully when the board is held upright (no smaller than the built in carry handle!). Any consumer product with an open movable cutting blade should have a locking feature. Absolute lightness. For this reason alone I would not recommend this cutter
