I gave two stars for a number of reasons, the product sounded fantastic and got good reviews so I bought it. The battery operated LED candle with remote control and timer was exactly what I wanted. So perfect for my 8 windows overlooking my tree lined city street. I didn't even take off my coat when I found her on the doorstep today. I rushed upstairs and put them together (click), the on/off switch is at the base of the candle - you need to remove it from the silver candlestick. Here is my experience when buying 3 packs of 8 of these candles: 1. The setup is pretty easy. You must unscrew the upper part, consisting of the "flame" and the locking screw to which it is attached, removing the red plastic that prevents the battery from contact during transport.2.
