Shoes were beautiful. Real leather shoes for children are hard to find. Unfortunately, it was uncomfortable on my son's ankle.

Shoelaces Were Fake Laces (perfect for preschoolers who are new to tying their own laces) . But despite the fact that the length was ok, the shoes were a little tight at the heel and in the hole. Because of this, it was painful for my son to put shoes on his foot, and when they were put on, he complained that his heel hurt. He has rather narrow feet and has never had a problem with them so I would say they are not for kids whose shoes are always tight. The chip is beautiful little shoes.

Florsheim has a good reputation and they don't give it up. My 12 year old boy loves them which surprises me a bit. They look very tasteful and not too "old fashioned" for a young man. I would highly recommend using a water repellent spray - it's light and shows dirt. Their only downside is that they are already worn on the sole. He wore them for 6 weeks and I'm not sure if the shorts will last into the school year. He is NOT usually picky about his shoes so this is surprising and disappointing.
