Enhance Engine Performance with Flowmaster Cold Air Intake Kit Review

My analysis of this automotive filter proved that it significantly improved airflow without compromising engine protection. The installation was quick and easy, and the sound it produces is amazing. The only downside is that it could be a bit pricey for some car enthusiasts.

The fit is very close to not being there. The intake manifold popped out of the clutch and set off a P0101 sensor code. There was air in the engine that was not measured. Reinstalled the pipe to stay in the couplers and no problems in the last 2 years. I can't say a slightly better throttle response to the increase in performance. The increase in fuel consumption is negligible at best. I like the sound it makes, others might not.

Installation was relatively easy but this shot caused my Check Engine and TRAC OFF lights to come on shortly after the first test drive. I took my truck (2014 Tacoma) to my mechanic to have him read the diagnostic codes and he gave a P0101 trouble code for MAF circuit range/performance. After clearing the code I thought everything was fine, but later in the day driving home the dashboards came back on. I ended up cleaning the MAF sensor and intake manifold and then cleared the diagnostic codes…
