Fluval Chi Replacement Filter Kit - 3 Filter Cartridges and 1 Foam Biological Cartridge Review

Works great for a small pool with a light load. The only problem I have is that the filter gets dirty on one side before the other. It just leads to more frequent cleaning. The filter itself lasted about a month with weekly cleaning. Having to clean the filter in the aquarium water to keep bacteria out probably hasn't improved the life of the filter, but a sick or dead fish sounds even worse.

Maintenance for replacement is very simple. Pull tab while on Fluval spec 2 and 5 you have to take light off hood pull everything out and get water everywhere remove charcoal and biocarrier and rinse off then repeat everything i prefer chi method less mess. However the filter may not last as long as I was hoping the flow would decrease drastically and I tried flushing it by holding down the shower head and it improved a bit but not as it used to. This review is from the heart as I have used this product as advertised and it really doesn't do what it is supposed to do. This is a clear example of why manufacturers in China should be replaced by manufacturers in this country, where quality can always be EXPECTED AND GET, and where lack thereof can be complained about.
