(March 2018) Good Sharp Knives, comes with a six knife guard. Should probably be five stars but I want to use them for a few months to see how crisp they are. It is now August 27th 2018, I have had it for over five months now and use it daily. Wash them by hand and store them in a protective box. Still pretty sharp. They are cheap and worth it. Now I give six stars because they deserve this rating.

Not quality as the price suggests but they're perfect for me; Used in my new camper. I have all the Rainbow utensils and this is a great addition. They work great, nice and clear. But I wouldn't buy it for home use. They don't feel like they will last with regular use and too long washes in the dishwasher. The handle is light compared to a blade, the opposite of what you'll find on high quality knives. I love the included holder!

Really like these steak knives. After reading some of the negative reviews I almost didn't order it. But I am what I have done. These knives look elegant and expensive, plus they're just a great steak knife. They slice through steaks easily. They feel good in my hand. I highly recommend these knives. I also like that the knife block is compact and doesn't take up much countertop space. My knives were delivered on time and well packaged.

I love the colors and small block of these steak knives. I can just put the set on the table for visitors to choose if they want. The block makes the set stable and helps keep it clean. I've had a number of positive reviews from visitors/friends and people want to know where I got them from. I am happy with my purchase. The size of the set is perfect, it doesn't take up much space and the block prevents accidents caused by open knives in the drawer.

Although I am more than aware that these are not genuine Laguiole knives. I think this is the perfect addition to any small dinner party. I love the French way of life! I can't afford the French lifestyle. That gives me the French aesthetic without the French aesthetic lifestyle. Unless someone is a fan of cutlery, I don't think anyone will know! I have to say pleasantly surprised. I ordered wood and received stainless steel. It turns out to be the best choice. Stainless steel doesn't trap bacteria like my old wooden-handled knives that needed to be washed very thoroughly. And the stainless steel handles are hollow, making the knives easy and comfortable to use. Excellent serrated edge cuts very well. Good holder for wooden blocks. Excellent purchase. I am incredibly happy to have found these Laguiole steak knives. I was looking for an inexpensive set of Cutco pearl handle knives but couldn't justify the cost. As the holidays approached, I bought two sets of these white-handled Laguiole knives to use at the Christmas dinners I was hosting. As you can see from my photos the quality is excellent and although they are not the same size as my Cutco knives they are much cheaper and much sharper.
