Acid Digs In - Solder and Flux

This is an acid solder and does the job perfectly. I decided to go ahead and buy another roll before the snowflakes forbid them. I use it to solder directly to the ends of batteries with great results.

Pros
  • Acid Digs In
Cons
  • Nothing

According to Forney this is NOT a lead free product and the description

Buyers beware because they had the same incorrect description on a very popular hardware website and Forney actually answered a question someone had asked and clarified that this solder is NOT lead free!

Pros
  • For general repairs
Cons
  • Ease of maintenance

Easy to use and fixed a radiator leak!

I purchased this item specifically to fix a leaking radiator on a 1974 Ford Maverick and yes I still use the same radiator which also helps save my radiator from having to fill up daily .

Pros
  • Solder and Flux
Cons
  • Expensive
