Stylish Twill Safari Shirtdress for Girls by French Toast Review

This dress is my favorite of all the school uniforms I have bought for my granddaughter. It's adorable about her. Washes very well.

Bought for our 6 year old girl as part of a Halloween costume with the idea that she could wear it for other things in the years to come. Fits well.

As a kid, this was one of my favorite brands. nostalgia now! The fit is perfect for my 7 almost 8 year old. She loves it and we make it our outfit for the photoshoot. Highly recommended. Fits perfectly, so if you want it a little looser, order a size up.

love the dress! Tan and navy blue dresses are great for school uniforms. Even after several washes, the color has not faded. Good material, does not shrink. It's worth buying!

My daughter was suddenly more obsessed with these dresses than regular uniform shirts. She's a little picky about the material. If it's the prices then it's a big no. It's soft for her. She waits in the laundry room in the morning for it to dry so she can put it back on.

The dress is perfect for a zoo keeper or safari costume. Very well made, but runs small. My daughter who wears a size 8 needed a size 12. Not sure if the 10th would fit as it was out of stock.

We needed a "safari view" for a school game and it fitted just right. Unfortunately there is no real dress. He is very small everywhere. I ordered 12 and knew 1 size would not fit more but the size turned out to be a14. Instead, he opted for shorts. Same manufacturer and they were fine.

I would give this 10 stars if I could. It fits well (I have a 5 year old size 6 and it fits enough to wear now and I'm pretty sure it will fit her next year too) and it's very durable.

My 5'80 10 year old daughter usually wears a size 10. I went up the size as other reviews recommended. Fits well, dress is well made but very short. This dress was about 3 inches above her knee. School policy states that the hem of their dress or skirt must be below the mid-knee or longer. She is a very active 10 year old girl and wears cycling shorts under dresses and skirts. Your cycling shorts would fall a leg lower than this dress. I have bought other French Toast dresses and have never had

I bought this because I needed a costume for New Year's Eve. I was looking for an adult female safari suit and this one popped up. Of course I sent it back as it didn't fit me. It has been almost a month since I returned this and the money has not been refunded!

We originally bought this safari dress for a Jane Goodall costume but it turned out to be a very cute dress and my daughter loves to wear it all the time. Runs a bit small, so we ordered a size up.

Bought for my 9 year old daughter as part of a uniform as she loves the style. Unfortunately, the sleeves are very limited. She can't raise her hands. And the buttonholes were very tight too (which I would fix, but the sleeves were too tight). upset. Otherwise very good fabric and cut quality.

It fits my daughter perfectly, the material is very nice and the dress is adorable. My toddler is 40 inches tall and weighs about 37 pounds (we are a size 6). She puts on a safari hat with him and calls herself "explorer" :)

Due to the nature of the material, it does not stretch a lot, the design is comfortable, the fit is accurate. If you want them to last longer than a year, choose one size larger. Daughter is 7 years old but she wears number 8.

My daughter wears French Toast dresses, leggings, skirts, shorts and shirts. This safari style is at least one size smaller than her other attire (maybe even two sizes). BUT we love the dress. It doesn't stretch at all and is a thicker material. I would only order this for a child of relatively normal (or slim) proportions, otherwise the armholes and waist would be too tight. This also applies when ordering a full size.

Stress is great! Nice thick fabric and good fit. However, he is small. My daughter was a size 10/12 when we got her a size 12 and it looked more like a 10 or 8/10 at best. I would recommend buying two sizes larger. Only four stars because it runs small.

My daughter only wore it once. Her arms are tense and she said she cannot move freely at all. Please go at least one size up when purchasing

I bought it for a school project. Worn short. It's been hanging in the closet ever since. looked cute on her. She can wear it with cute leggings and a long sleeve shirt underneath this winter!
