I have a couple of Freud-Forstner serrated bits (as well as a couple of non-serrated bits) and have been using them for many years. These are good bits (sharp out of the box, make clean holes, decent cutting speed, and stay sharp for a while) and they're not overpriced. Blade, but it's a bit harder to sharpen by hand.
