It really is the best for men

The jacket is not exactly what I expected but still nice to have. I was expecting a lightweight nylon raincoat for hiking and camping. What I received reminds me of a recycled garden foil. (The black stuff you put in to keep weeds from growing in your yard) Is it waterproof? Is it light? is it fashionable? No, it never will. Nevertheless, it serves its purpose as intended and weighs next to nothing. Also, it's very big. I'm 6ft 178lbs and the average size looks like XL. I could wear countless…

Amazing Product, Best in Jackets & Coats

My Second. I bought my first one to use on my motorcycle and have used it for off road and Canadian riding. It's paper thin and lasted for years before I lost the hood drawstring and it started shedding. It was such a great product that I bought it and it's just as good. And no, I didn't get a discount. They will last for years if you understand that since they are paper thin you cannot pierce them with sharp objects. They are quite durable though, the first one clocked about 50,000 miles on a…

worked great during a heavy downpour on vacation, which is allowed.

The backpacks are small enough to fit in a cargo pocket, worked great during a torrential downpour on holiday, allowing us to continue sightseeing with ease. It's not 100% waterproof, it's waterproof. If you want 100% protection, you need a synthetic product. This product is breathable and offers sufficient protection. I got a bit wet on my shoulders but they dried quickly and that wasn't a problem and I would have preferred that to wearing something non breathable and the discomfort associated

It's super light, incredibly breathable and works great!

I bought this because of the rain forecast on a recent tourist trip. It ended up raining for 24 hours and although my friends were wearing trendy branded raincoats, I was the only one who was completely dry! So impressed with this little raincoat! It's no frills - not even pockets and insulation, which was perfect for me as it was hot and buggy (bonus bug repellent!). It's not particularly attractive and quite large, but in winter it would be ideal to have extra room for layers or even a coat…

Order the size you feel is generous.

I bought the X-Large because some brands fit perfectly and the large ones sometimes look too smug. The X-Large here definitely made me feel like I could be comfortable in a big one. I took it on a hike to a few places and it served its purpose as intended. It's lightweight and easy to pack. As the jacket was larger than expected, during a downpour on the way down the trail I was able to tuck it under the jacket along with my book bag to protect everything. Sometimes when I was clinging to the…

Almost perfect for men

Frogg Togg's Ultralite 2 is a near-perfect, value-for-money raincoat that can be folded. Your experience largely depends on the temperature at which you wear the jacket. I bought a large men's jacket; I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 200 pounds. I found the sleeve length and overall length just right. There is a little more room in the jacket, but that didn't really bother me. I can see this coming in handy if you want to wear this over another jacket. The material is light and I can see concern that…

Pros
  • Ultra-Lite2 raincoat - lightweight and easy to store
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled
