Type of review

At first I did not want to buy this lens. I thought that with such a range of focal lengths, the picture would not be very good, gray and soapy. And the dimensions were not at all pleasing. But then I bought it anyway - I needed a zoom, and preferably with weather protection. Of the weatherproof zooms, this one suited me the most. And he pleasantly surprised me! The picture turned out to be very personal.Contrary to my fears - sharp and excellentcomlors. Plus, it's a great stabilizer. Saves…

Pros
  • Wide range of focal lengths - all in one. Weatherproof. Excellent stabilizer. The bonus is the impressive view.
Cons
  • I do wish it was smaller and lighter. But with such characteristics, it is hardly realistic to do this in principle.

Shows the best quality at apertures 7.1-8. You can shoot on open ones if the edges are not important in the plot (for example, portraits). The pictures are bright, comlorful and sharp. Needs some work in the rav-converter, in jeeps from the camera there is often a mess of small parts (grass, foliage). There are no problems with this in Lightroom 6. Photos here:

Pros
  • Universal, those focal points, which are necessary. Sharp all over the field on covered apertures. Great contrast. Colorful. Good stabilizer.
Cons
  • Heavier than the carcass, rather bulky, the lower edge protrudes beyond the bottom of the camera. I had to buy extra. grip. The edges on the open noticeably lather. 135mm soap around the edges even on a covered hole.

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

It also comes with a lens hood and a black lightweight microfiber case with excellent stitching on the edges and with the Fujifilm logo. The logo is not stitched. I love sightseeing bus tours, especially in the mountains. I love photographing nature. Watched him for 2 months. Before buying, I made a tour of my frames according to EXIF data and made sure that up to 85% of the frames were made in the range from 1x to ~ 7x, that is, from 16 (18) to ~ 110 mm. For me, its focal lengths are…

Pros
  • The range of focal lengths. Very fast focusing speed. Excellent picture quality. Dust and moisture protection.
Cons
  • Expensive, but I attribute this rather to changes in exchange rates. With a rate of 1 RUR = 40 USD, you get a "tasty" price.

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

The lens met expectations with reliability, now you can not hide from rain and light frost. The stabilizer made it possible to get an unblurred picture in the evening in the city at maximum focal length when shooting handheld. The minimum focusing distance is only 45 cm, it turns out to shoot close-ups at a long focus. Yes, and there is blur in the blur zone. Different pros: Universal range of focal lengths, zoom ratio 7.5. Dust and weather proof, fast focusing, aperture ring. There is a lot of

I am completely satisfied, item complies with description.

good glass for all occasions - dressed and on the road in the picture there is a noticeably better 16-55 2.8, but with its weight it’s not at all convenient to hold the camera, you need either a butblock or an increased grip. a unique thing is the all-weather design of the hull. Nikon and Canon simply don’t have this - it helps a lot when traveling or when shooting in the rain

Pros
  • convenient focal image stabilizer all-weather protection at 135mm noticeably washes the background - the most convenient solution for portraits
Cons
  • I would like 2.8 instead of 3.5-5.6 and 16mm instead of 18mm the high price of a new one and for that kind of money to take it is nonsense - it is not worth the money.

The product disappointed, does not meet the promises.

I bought it as a universal lens just in case, before that I used a 35mm fix. The terrible quality of the picture, when compared with fixes, could not put up with it and sold it nafig. For such money, such mediocrity . I bought a 56 mm fix instead, the picture cannot even be compared. I will buy more width and will no longer experiment with zooms. Yes, it's inconvenient, but the quality of the picture is everything. And with this lens, the quality is comparable to cheap soap dishes. Then why…

Pros
  • Focal range, protection
Cons
  • Dark, protruding trunk

It is impossible to use, a bad product.

Just compare this lens with the cheaper 18-55 before buying. Heaven and earth. What about the uniformity of sharpness, what about the microcontrast, what about the accuracy of focusing. Stabilization does not compare at all. I do not recommend choosing carefully, be sure to check the lenses for clearance, believe me, it will not hurt. The lens left a feeling of surprise that FujiFilm XF is written on it. As a result, I changed to 18-55. Yes, it has lost a convenient scope, but it has gained a…

Pros
  • Convenient focal range, sort of like weatherproof. It feels good in the hands on the fotik, causes a feeling of reliability. Made of high quality plastic.
Cons
  • The quality of the lens does not match the brand and price. Vacuum cleaner (here, yes). Dark, it is dark in terms of real aperture, if you intend to use it in the middle lane and to the north, you will photograph most of the year at the limit of the stabilizer and ISO.

Quality lens Sharp

Very sharp lens. In my 30+ years of photography this has to be one of the best lenses I have ever owned. In fact, it's so good that my daughter, who has her own X-T30 camera, borrows this lens so often that I may have to buy a second one. The detail this lens can capture is mind-blowing, and the quality of the optics is surprisingly good. The fit and finish of the lens and its overall appearance are also excellent. The range of angles you get because it's a zoom lens makes it a great all-around

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Speed

Great all round and travel lens

I bought this lens after finally deciding I needed a good all round lens for travel and studio work where focal lengths can be unpredictable or changing. I also wanted to change lenses less often. This lens is perfect for all needs. My main genres of photography consist of both studio and outdoor portraits. Occasionally I also photograph landscapes, fine art and macro photography. This lens shines in most situations where I can use it. Areas where I would probably prefer not to use it would be…

18-135 mm - goalkeeper!

I've been shooting with 18-55mm and 55-200mm for two years and I've always wanted to replace them with a lens because a) I hate changing lenses and feel like I've had a few in the past missing out on great shots by -for; b) I hate lugging around extra weight and the 18-135mm weighs about half as much as the 18-55mm and 55-200mm combined. For two years I couldn't convince myself to pay that much for a lens that got so many bad reviews. claimed it was a mediocre lens for the price. Two months ago

  • Pleasant

  • Expensive

Better than I expected.

This lens cannot satisfy those who use pixel peeking as an important method to determine which lenses are out of spec. Edges are not particularly sharp at most focal lengths. The lens is obviously not the fastest. I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this lens as these issues bothered me. However, after spending the weekend with him and taking around 200 pictures, I am very happy with this decision. While not too sharp around the edges, it's very sharp in the center. While not particularly

Very useful and versatile XF Zoom

To be honest I had no intention of buying this lens. But I really needed a good all round zoom for my X-T1 as the only lens I had (had) was a 56mm f/1.2 (an amazing glass gem). I was hoping to get a 16-55mm f/2.8 lens by summer/fall 2014, but when Fuji's plans recently changed and some additional specs were announced and photo samples of this 18-135mm lens were released, decided me to try . Coincidence as my lens for traveling light. FOCUS RANGE is quite wide and certainly useful. Sure, it…
