I have installed these cool valves on all 4 of my cars and they are just awesome. Installation is very simple and changing the oil is a breeze. You never have to wait for the drain plug to come out and spill all that hot oil. Simply open the valve in an appropriately sized container and allow the water to drain. In the 4 years that I have had these valves I have never had a single leak. Recommend this valve for any automotive application.

I have been using the Fumoto valve on my Subaru Crosstrek for 4 years and I love it. My wife recently bought a Chevy Volt and I wanted to take the stock oil plug and replace it with a Fumoto valve, but since we almost never use an ICE generator there was no need to change the oil. Installed this the other day when doing the first oil change on my 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track since purchase. It was very easy to install and very easy to use. I tried opening the valve once and some residual oil came out of the tub, just like a normal drain. No leaks have been seen since then. The clip also keeps the lever in place very securely. If you change your oil yourself, you should definitely think about buying it. No more fumbling around looking for the right size wrench or socket, simply remove the locking clip (if equipped) and twist the lever. Bought one of these for my GTI and also one for my wife's Mazda, both easy to install and leak free. Makes an already simple oil change almost trivial. The best part? Update: Talk to Fumoto - they have a new F-106 version for the Honda CRV that has a thru bolt , which enters directly into the sump, and the drain valve fits inside. It looks and works well, my only concern is that the drain valve in the new design hangs about 1.25 inches (below the bottom of the oil pan) so I'm a little nervous about hitting it.
