Works well but detects at slower speed so you may need to manually set

This memory works fine, no problem. I was surprised to see that it ran at a much lower clock speed, but changed that in the bios and it was rock solid. Very important. Would buy again. I have an AM4 setup and it's said to work better with two sticks than four with the same amount of memory. So I went with this two stick setup.

Pros
  • in BIOS. Wide range
Cons
  • The list will be long.

One of the RAM sticks was dead on arrival

I was putting together a new computer and only realized 30 days after returning that one of the RAM sticks had died when I first started, due to a RAM malfunction to get caused blue screens . I learned from that.

Cons

Memory seems better suited for Intel

Maybe better for Intel machines because it caused problems with my x470 motherboard. Don't post etc no matter what I did. Not very friendly with the board but sometimes I get a different set of different G.Skills which works well. I just don't want to spend days figuring out something that doesn't logically work. Good luck and your mileage may change.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • There are error

Very cheap performance update

Delivered on time and memory was very well protected during shipping. Easy to install and had no problems. Improved my HP performance at a very affordable price!

  • Certified
Cons

Works well, but speed isn't necessarily automatic

At least on AMD-based motherboards, the speed is initially set to the best JEDEC profile. (I don't know, on Intel-based motherboards) The nominal speed for these modules is stored in an XMP profile, which AMD-based motherboards don't automatically use. I DON'T KNOW IF THE JEDEC BEST TIMES ARE WRONG BECAUSE I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE RANDOM SHUTDOWN THAT DISAPPEARED AFTER CHECKING THE PSU FAN STOP AND ADJUSTING THE MEMORY TO XMP SETTINGS. (Was my problem with the memory, power supply or even the…

  • Looking forward to it

Great value for money

I've been using the G.Skill store for a while now. I had no problems with the sticks I bought. Now memory cards work on all three of my computers. They work well when I adjust the timings to do my high performance bench testing. I can't talk about games just because I don't have them on any of my machines.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Annoying
