Great tool for occupational therapy

My son has hypotonia (low muscle tone) in his upper body and his occupational therapist recommended this board for home games. He (and his sisters) love to ride it around the house. Since our goal is to build upper body muscle, the children lie prone on the board and maneuver by squeezing their arms and chest muscles. Unstoppable fun! However, the wheels spin very quickly, so this board is dangerous if children step on it on a hard floor.

Remind me of elementary gym class

God they take me back to gym class where I play different games but I have to do it on these scooters all the time. I really want to buy something for my little ones but I'm afraid they are NOT COMPLETELY ready for it. I bought one because I'm a photographer and I often photograph children and toddlers in the studio. This is the perfect little scooter that helps me move around on the ground and maintain a good height in relation to the kids. I'm still planning on getting a few more for the boys

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

  • Not the best

Durable and fun for play and outdoor activities

My kids love them and it's the only thing left of Christmas that they play with and don't break. In fact, they are very durable. My 6 year old is very rough with his toys and usually breaks them, but they've been driving them all over the house, crashing into walls and doors and still not broken. I just have to get used to the fact that the carpets in my living room are constantly being rolled up because the scooters go faster on the bare floor. A small price to pay for keeping kids happy…

It worked wonders for one of my students!

I teach special education. This year I have children in elementary school with a lot of motor problems (the average person won't necessarily notice). So I ordered this to see if it would help those with behavioral issues and also during "brain breaks". I couldn't believe in the one day transformation. The creature's pressure on its abdomen and the use of all 4 limbs was a miracle! A student who did not usually finish work in the morning and had behavioral problems throughout the morning worked…

Second best gift for the holiday

It was a real hit. My niece said they were her second favorite gift of the Christmas season and that's saying something. These are the exact same scooters you'll find (or saw years ago) in sport classes across the country. They have the same advantages and disadvantages. Sturdy looking hinges, rolling wheels, made to last but eventually need replacing. IMO, minimal supervision required. They slide well on linoleum, hardwood and around the iconic bag. A great way to keep kids active. Now all we…

So much fun!: Sports

I actually bought this particular scooter because my son's best friend brought two of these when he came to visit. before that we had never seen them before. My friend (mum) bought them for the same reason - a friend brought them and they had so much fun with them that they bought them too. be the "right" way to use them, so they use them in different ways. They love to race, ride and play with them. They will tie the two together and ask someone to pull them. I could even see them being used…

Zoom from room to room!

Such a cool toy at a very affordable price! This toy is the first thing my DD goes to after returning from school. She is 8 years old my DS 2 and they both love to play with this scooter board. My baby mostly lies on his stomach and "floats", puts his beloved puppy or other toy on it and pushes it, or just sits down. watch TV with it. My DD uses it all the time to move around the house. It just helps her relax after school. When her friends arrive, they start rampaging about what to do with…
