Fits Brompton but don't worry

This mount will work on a Bompton handlebar if you tilt the mount so it doesn't interfere with folding. There is a place for that. This attachment does not interfere with the Metro Pouch or front pocket attached to the rack. BUT Garmin GPS devices lose out to phone apps and devices that integrate maps and navigation better than Garmin. This is a premium mount for third-rate devices.

Pros
  • practical
Cons
  • not sure

Not that advanced. Actually shorter than the original bracket supplied.

Ordered to install my Garmin Edge 530 on my second bike. The only odd thing is that this "extended" mount is actually shorter than the original mount that came with the device. In the picture, LEFT is the new "enhanced" bracket and RIGHT is the original bracket that came with the unit. I ordered an extended mount because I don't like looking down that far to see the device while driving.

  • New
Cons
  • Expensive

Garmin Edge Out front mount - perfect

The Garmin Out front mount comes with a 2.5mm allen key, thick and thin rubber pads. My 22.5mm MTB handlebar widens to 31.75mm. in the middle where I installed the mount with just a THIN rubber spacer. I turned the screw almost all the way, and it holds the bar perfectly at a 31.5mm diameter point. The Edge 500 pivots to lock securely in either a front-to-back position (or rotated 90 degrees side-to-side). The mountain looks strong and attractive.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • not bad

Garmin 1000

Good. The mount installs in seconds, but its position makes it easier to read information from a computer. The Garmin 1000 is easy to put on and take off. my other bike in years where the computer was never released. The poor mount needs to be a bit longer so you can easily fit a power cord to the bottom of the 1000 that attaches to an extra battery pack for longer rides.

Pros
  • Vehicle mounts
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Perfect fit for the new Edge Explore

I tried three other third-party mounts for my slightly larger Edge Explore, thinking I could get by with a cheaper price, but each had flaws that made them unsuitable for the Edge Explore. The Garmin mount sits flush with the top of the handlebars so the handlebars are out of the way when you rotate the GPS unit to install. In addition, this mount comes with two rubber (not hard plastic) adapters that have matching grooves in the handlebar ring, providing a secure and soft mount for your GPSโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GPS finder and accessories
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Affordable and efficient outdoor navigation tool

This is a great tool with a focus on navigation (rather than training parameters like power etc.). The screen is large (3 inches) and clear. Management is easy. I find it very suitable for MTB, paying for what I need (map, navigation, basic parameters like speed, heart rate, distance, etc.) and not for things that I don't use in other Edge devices that are more for the Road bikers are suitable. Cons - Battery life is so-so, but should be enough for everyday driving (and can be charged while inโ€ฆ

  • GPS Accessory
