High quality Japanese spare parts!

Very good Japanese quality bearing and tensioner replacement. The belt has accurate time markings. I am very satisfied with this set, and at a great price! Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Designed for convenience, easy part finding and reducing customer returns
Cons
  • Some faults

Genuine OEM quality!: Belt

Ideal for ej25 dohc (99 Legacy Ouback). The price was amazing, about $200 less than the local parts store. I also ordered a Gates WP and it looked like an OEM. Buy Gates if you want original quality.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Wrong tensioner for belts, hoses and pulleys

The timing belt tensioner did not fit my '97 Subaru (2.5L DOHC). My car uses an old piston tensioner. About another $200 to get the correct tensioner and pulley. All other parts were good.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Nothing in this set is made in Japan or the USA

Nothing in this set is made in Japan. The belt is made in Thailand, the tensioner is made in Canada and the pulleys are made in China! Called the Subaru dealer and was told the factory parts are about $500. American Gates belts were as good or better than Japanese factory belts, and they used KOYO (Japan) pulleys, which were the same as Subaru. The cost of the kit is good but unfortunate that they are no longer made in the US and Japan.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Protection
