My surround speakers weigh less than 2 pounds each so these speaker mounts work fine. I haven't had any problems with speaker sag. When adjusting the position, I would recommend tightening them snugly, but not over-tightening.

Never open the box as I had to buy speaker brackets from Fry. Literally the next day I received the amplifier with its speakers and subwoofer. I went to Fry's, bought speaker mounts and installed the speakers. The system was up and running for almost a week before the speaker mounts arrived from Amazon.

These are high quality speaker brackets but the hardware included is not suitable for wall mounting speakers that only have the keyhole option. The plastic discs (S/NK) listed in the parts list are missing. Screws intended for these types of speakers have a smaller head and do not hold the speakers in place. It can work if the plastic discs are not missing. As it was sold by a third party (through Revain) I did not receive a replacement.

For the first time in my life I had the opportunity to set up a complete 5.1 surround sound system in my living room. I bought these mounts because they were affordable and seemed to be just what I needed. They are easy to install and offer great freedom of movement, so the wall speakers can be placed in almost any position. My only concern is that I would have liked to have had some sort of thread to hide the speaker wire inside the bracket itself. But for the price I really can't complain.

I have Mirage Nanosat 5.1 speakers hanging upside down from the ceiling. Other inexpensive mounts from Best Buy, Sears, or Walmart either couldn't bend a full 90 degrees (so you might want to mount them on the side of the wall since the satellite speaker mounting point is at the bottom) or are very long. very impractical to mount directly on the ceiling. I wanted to mount my speakers on the wall, but seeing how flat they were I mounted them directly to the ceiling. Looks great and works great…
