I don't like this "headgear" at all and here's why: Unlike my previous Under Armor headgear, this thing isn't a full headgear, it's almost like a ninja mask with a neck warmer with a skullcap. The eye area is beautifully shaped as it does not rise from the bottom up or from the forehead down so as not to disturb your eyes. On the other hand, the nose is only in one position and all others are pushed too hard against the nose area. I can still breathe, contrary to what others have written, but…

Fits my head perfectly. The crown of my head measures 22 inches to give you an idea. It protects my face from wind and moderately cold temperatures. It's soft and comfortable on the inside and can be worn in a variety of ways. There may be other balaclavas for colder temperatures that can be thicker but this one is perfect for me.

Small balaclava. Tiny. I have a small head and often wear a baby hat, but this barely fits. The headdress covers about 2/3 of the head. This is after you've actually managed to put it on your head because it curls up when you put it on and doesn't stay on your scalp. I would like a nice, thin fleece. It seems soft and warm, but for me it's useless.

I was able to use this face mask in Lake Tahoe last weekend, it definitely helped a lot as it was snowing/raining very heavily. So much so that I couldn't snowboard with it, but there's always a next time. You can really feel the material of this face mask, it feels very good like it's made of a really good material. You can use it for dust, snow and the list goes on. Highly recommended!
