Bought these for a friend. The size is universal. I have small hands, my boyfriend has big hands. We walk five miles almost five times a week. They worked in the wet cold. They are thicker and warmer than dollar gloves. You have content. They're great to have on hand. I have a spare pair in the glove compartment. They are so functional and affordable. If you lose one, it's not the end of the world. And you have an extra pair.

Although these gloves appear to be of good quality I was expecting a smaller size based on the reviews I read about the sizing . (True, I only read a few of these before purchasing.) I believe a more accurate description comes from the following review I just found: It states, "These gloves were larger and thicker quality than expected. are a true "adult size" and not the thinner and smaller "one size fits all" often found at this price point."
