Bought 4 packs of these straps when the original strap on our Hoover Wind Tunnel Vac melted due to a sticking broom. Only used a few times but seems to work well. I'm not sure they'll last as long as the originals, but I now have three spares for the price of one original strap if I can remember where I've stashed them in a few years.

For the same price as a belt in store you can get 4. The new belt has made a huge difference in the way our vacuum cleaner works. The new carpet, which we initially thought was junk because it wasn't vacuumed well, became a whole different beast once the new belt was in place with the power of the brush rotation. Now with three spares I have no excuse not to change them more than once every 5 years.

I'm not the type of person who thinks product reviews should be written immediately after purchase. I rate a product by how well it does its job over a long period of time. In this case, this product will be rated after a session with the vacuum cleaner after installing the belt. The good news is that the vacuum cleaner is working well again.
