Honda OEM 17228-RAA-A00 Air Flow Tube Review

Replaced 16 year old cracked air intake hose for my Honda Accord Sedan 2.4L 4 Cylinder. Vehicle age contributes to rubber losing its elasticity and eventually cracking. Easy installation. Genuine Honda OEM part. I would recommend it to anyone with basic manual skills.

Everything else fits correctly except for the room temperature sensor but it's not the product's fault, it's California's fault they have to have a special model of their own. The spring on the airbox was very tight, Honda should have just put a regular yoke in there. I fixed the iat sensor hole by putting a cup on it. If you have an air temperature sensor, this will fit perfectly.

Well I've read reviews of cheaper versions of this part but they wanted you to drill a hole for the incense burner and that just calls for trouble. This product cost more but much less effort. I didn't use the spring that came with it, although I went to the auto zone and got the metal ring for $2, which is also a lot easier. I'm a 26 year old female with zero car knowledge and installed this in my Honda Accord 03 in about 20 minutes. Pictured is my old vs my new lol awful i know
