Compared to the nylon dog collars I find around town, this collar is great value. It looks great on my dog, comfortable around the neck and great quality. Very durable construction.

Our 65 lbs. The Pitbull/Healer mix is pretty rough for collars, but this one was very good. A few rivets fell out, but this did not affect the integrity of the collar. We will buy this again.

BUT, the cleats come out and bend over time. 5 stars for beauty, 2 for quality. He has had this collar for less than a year and I now need to replace it. Damn. I really wanted this to continue. The spikes only got lost and dented because he was playing with other dogs. I will not buy again. That would probably be good for an older, lazy dog.

High quality thick collar for dogs. Fits well. Just 2 problems: 1. I wish there was a tag loop next to the buckle so both the buckle and dog tags could be on the bottom of my dog's neck. The color is not as dark/shiny leather as pictured. It's more like aged skin. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.

We ordered this for our new "baby" banjo! It looks great on him and is exactly like the picture! A few minor issues with it; A loop to hold the excess portion of the belt when buckled slips and allows the "overhanging" portion of the collar to dangle, and one of the brass rods got a little lost when we got it and got caught in the Poor Banjo's hair. We tightened the pin with pliers and everything is fine! Beautiful and durable collar! Banjo and family are happy!

I bought two, one for my two dogs and they are great collars. I had a hard time deciding between 4 and 5 stars, but ended up with 4 because 5 would mean perfect and I can think of one thing (if only one) that I found far from perfect. In fact, the stiffness of the leather, combined with the close proximity of the metal loop to the buckle, makes it difficult to tuck excess collar into the loop once it has been fastened around the dog's neck. I understand this is probably a minor issue for those…
