Easy installation on my 5th Wheel RV

This was part of my RV upgrade which included (4) 100Amp Battleborn lithium batteries which I connected to a GP-ISW1500 with 2AWG wires and a Bussmann CB285 150Amp fuse . I also have (6) Renogy 100W solar panels. Each of these components works perfectly. After turning off my RV's battery isolator switch, I connect a 30A cable from my GP-ISW1500 to the RV's shore power supply to power all 120 volt outlets in the RV (except AC units). Great addition to our motorhome.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

"Used electronics are no good "

I wanted to replace my inverter with a newer one, so I chose GoPower because it has great features. When this arrived it was evident from the screw mark on the mounting flange that it had been previously used. After I installed it, only the flashing light worked, there was no AC power. It was installed correctly and the pin switches were installed correctly. I think the inverter is good, but whoever had one before me might have had some issues. Another good thing about GoPower is that they have

Works great so far.

This product looks very good. It handles the loads I put on pretty well without any worries. I turned on the fridge and freezer separately and it worked perfectly. I left it running all night before and it worked without complaint. The only drawback for me is that the fan is a bit noisy. It definitely won't work if you have to spend a lot of time in close proximity. The fan turns on after a few minutes of operation, not necessarily under heavy load. Overall it's been working great so far. I…

WARNING: Poor build quality. Doesn't even deserve one star.

This is now my second GoPower 1500 inverter. The build quality is very poor. The first inverter was difficult to connect and broke as shown in the photo. The socket just fell off when I plugged in my electronics. I bought another one, I think it was the first problem and I've had GoPower products before with no problems. Order a new one, install it and leave it on the road, then plug in my chargers only for the outlet to drop on first use. Poor build quality made me unable to charge. It…

Solid State Inverter

I ordered it for my so called solar generator project. I did a lot of research, participated in forums, read reviews and articles, and sought advice from professionals. I have chosen an industrial Go Power inverter. 1500 watts is fine for me. Together with my LiFePO4 batteries, this inverter provides clean and stable AC power. It uses very little power when not in use and I ordered a remote control so it can be turned off when not needed at all. The inverter is very efficient (91%) and has a…

Solid and reliable as I tested!

This inverter works as advertised. Solid quality and seems to go well with my workshop's 600w solar tools and 800ah battery. The reason for the 4 stars is that it doesn't show the volts of your batteries or the watts you're using like the old model on my other solar system in my work truck does. So far, these inverters have performed flawlessly in dirty, dusty and heat-prone workshops. for many years. I recently bought a 3000w AIMS brand inverter for another system and it didn't last a month…

  • There are other interesting options.
