So have hand tools

Drywall Board Holder does exactly what it's supposed to do. This allows one person to easily move/carry a 4x8 panel of drywall or sheathing. And it's not expensive.

Pros
  • Comfortable inlaid handle
Cons
  • New competition has arrived

It may be plastic, but it's durable.

At 69 I still carry drywall and plywood. This thing eliminates the need to rotate your wrist at an awkward angle to carry a 4 x 8 piece of material. Worth every penny. Too bad I didn't see it years ago.

Pros
  • Holds up to 2 5/8" sheets
Cons
  • Will write later

The gold leaf drywall holder I received seems solid, but it didn't have non-slip rubber tabs at the base of the mount. Without protrusions, hard objects like sheets of plywood can easily slide into the bracket. Worse, there are two molded spots for attaching pieces of rubber, but without the rubber there are two exposed hard edges that the bracket's leverage would likely press into and damage the surface of a sheet of drywall that is the bracket. face of drywall. I'm sure this would work fine…

Pros
  • Non-slip rubber tabs at the base
