Just buy it! - Cutlery and knife accessories

Thank god our JA Henckels that came with the block broke. Now we know how good kitchen scissors can be and how cheap they are! It's such a good price and so well made. I love them so far and I don't feel bad for being rude to them. The best buy!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Inexpensive. Spicy.

A friend of mine bought the same pair and uses them for herbs and such. I just got them to open packages and I love them. I have small hands so they work great for me. I think if you had thumbs they wouldn't be as comfortable. I haven't used them for cooking, but I have a feeling they would be sharp enough for slicing up raw chicken.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Factor Set

The best all-purpose scissors.

I used regular scissors and they all dull very quickly. I keep them in the trash drawer in the kitchen and use them to cut rope in bags, in packaged groceries. I love the Gorilla Grip, I feel like I'm holding something durable and comfortable. They come with a protective case to keep and use (wish all scissors had one) as they will extend the life of your shears/scissors.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Works great so far.

Thought it might be worth a try for under $10. So far it hasn't disappointed. I mainly used it to open vacuum sealed food bags. So not a big test with it. I cut two chicken breasts. Worked fantastic for this. I plan to give it a bigger test in the future. While it probably won't replace my knives for everything, I see it as useful for other tasks. The product appears to be well made. I haven't had any rust problems. I hand wash it and dry it well before putting it away. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Excellent value kitchen shears

I use kitchen shears fairly regularly as they are workhorses for multiple uses in the kitchen. Used expensive scissors through to the popular KitchenAid models and none of these have lasted more than a couple of years. Decided to go cheaper this time as I think I'll throw them away anyway. Turns out they're pretty good. Just as good as KitchenAids and a few bucks cheaper. How long they last before they fade and I don't have to throw them away is yet to be determined, but for now I'm happy with…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

These scissors seemed good value for money but the plastic seemed oddly light and of poor quality . After a few uses and washes, all of the oil that was between the two greasing blades was gone. This made them almost impossible to open and close during use. I've tried re-lubricating them with a few different things like canola oil and WD-40, but that didn't work. The assembly is too tight for oil to get in between and the rivet cannot be removed without destroying it. Wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
