Supports self-feeding: The short handles of Grabease utensils are ergonomically designed to suit the natural movement and grip of babies’ hands, encouraging baby-led weaning and giving your wee one a chance to learn on their own schedule. No choking hazards: The cloud-shaped collar on Grabease baby silverware acts as a choke protection barrier, to ensure your child does not gag on the utensil while experimenting with self-feeding. No nasty chemicals: These toddler fork and spoon sets are made from 100% safe plastic, free from BPA, lead, phthalates and other harmful materials. Easy clean-up: These baby spoons and forks are safe for the top rack of your dishwasher. Simply toss them in with your dishes or boil them for 2 minutes to clean. Develops dexterity: Occupational therapists recommend Grabease. As your kiddos feed themselves, they develop motor skills and their finger muscles grow stronger, preparing them for coloring, drawing and writing in the future.

I love, love it when my kid understands things so quickly.

My son loves this cookware, he is 13 months old and always uses his fingers. He started eating them 5 minutes after picking them up. I love love when my kid gets things so quick and easy. I recommend it to any parent looking for a smooth transition to self-feeding. Perfect for his little hands. Perfect for mom.

Great for a thrasher!

I am teaching my 7 month old to eat mashed potatoes and this spoon/fork is perfect! I'm constantly on the verge of safety in general, and adding a long, pointed plastic thing that I try to put in her mouth as she unpredictably tosses in all directions is no exception. I didn't want to spend money on it but I'm glad I did because I can feed her or let her eat on her own without worrying about her getting hurt. Good quality and easy to wash - I say take it!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • For the elderly

The child has been using them for about a week. From 5-6 months she fed herself. Feeling like the spoon is too big (hence the -1 star; the spoon feels a bit wide to fit all the way through the mouth). then put it in her mouth. I'm trying to show her how to use it with an example, but so far it seems like a more interesting toy to play with while eating. Honestly, she takes a "big girl" spoon/fork and uses it better than this utensil. We can skip them entirely. I would recommend having them as…

waste of money! in stock

For some reason my original review has been deleted. I ordered these for my son who was 14 months old at the time. Thought it was a great concept but a bit pricey for a fork and spoon but ordered a try anyway. When I opened the box I was surprised how small this dish is. I was curious to see how my son would like them. Unfortunately, after ONE use, the forks bent. Very disappointed. After I submitted my review, the company contacted me and wanted to correct the situation. I was told that the…

Ideal for children who handle dishes from above

I bought these for my 1 year old daughter who had trouble using other cookware. She tried using other utensils (we tried all different shapes and sizes) but she kept getting them wrong. I've seen them before but never thought they would be needed. I'm so glad I finally bought them! Of course, they probably won't work for everyone, but if your child continues to grab dishes like mine did, this is a game changer. They are the perfect size for her and my 3 year old uses them occasionally. They…

Pros
  • Easy to clean: these children's spoons and forks are dishwasher safe. Just toss them in a bowl or boil them for 2 minutes to clean them.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Buy this early and possibly cheaper version

I bought two of these, one for each of my 15 month old twins. To varying degrees, both already use the normal children's forks and spoons. But I thought it might help them get food in their mouths a little easier. Upon unboxing I was disappointed at how small and thin they are for the price. The spoon is useless to us as it doesn't help to keep it upright. Being a short spoon doesn't really do any good. My daughter was fascinated by these spoons but they are too small for her hands. My son…
