Insoluble in water, best in drawing media

Listing specifies water soluble graphite pencils. I got very frustrated when my student projects didn't work out. I wish I had tried them before class. I didn't notice it in time and now I'm stuck. I hate when people lie on their lists. I don't like having to buy from Revain and not being able to see things in stores anymore. I used to have an art shop.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Not sure

Good quality graphite

I grind sticks to make my own graphite powder. This grade 9B gave a really solid dark shade that I was looking for. The quality is also excellent. Since it's so dark, a bit of graphite will do the trick if you're just creating midtones. That means 12 sticks should be enough for a while. I bought it for $14 so at that price it was great!

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

False advertising! Sure says 12 you get 1!

Name is self explanatory: PACK OF 12 ** You must even choose quantity 12 as a colored pencil is also available. But you still only get 1. Thought maybe it was a mistake, I returned the order saying it was missing parts and asked for a replacement. Again, I only received a crayon that cost a ridiculously over $8! A crayon sold individually costs a maximum of $1.35.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
