This was a gift for my 10 year old granddaughter who wants to learn the basics of styling (mainly braids). I was concerned about the possibility of lice in my hair but it was perfectly clean. She really likes this product; the hair is thick and silky and has a very "human" feel. Can't comment on how it's holding up as she only started using it a month ago, but so far so good.

I'm surprised. This is a good mannequin. The hair feels and looks real, when I curl it I check if it melts or not. I didn't find any lice. It's a little thin, but that doesn't bother me. In fact, this is the same mannequin I had in cosmotology school. If anything changes I will update this review.

The hair was quite thick on the head but became very disheveled towards the ends. So it could be 24-26 inches, but such long strands are few. My biggest problem is that I found what I suspect are head nits. I took a picture and sent it to my hairdresser, she thinks it's alive. Disgusting!
