Unfortunately this flux pen requires the flux of your choice to be purchased separately before it can be used. For that price I could buy two pens that could be used immediately. Too bad I didn't check the reviews which make it clear we're only buying the pen; however, this may be misleading advertising.

Delivered without liquid. I didn't get it at first but went back and checked the site and I agree it was well noticed. I'm deducting a star here because honestly it's completely useless without liquid. You cannot order liquid anywhere, you must choose another generic liquid which will almost certainly come in sealed stick form. So I couldn't even use it.

This product is great for applying a small amount of flux to a tiny area. However, you will need to sweep the contact multiple times to get enough flux to work. The reason for only 4 stars is that if the tip of the brush even briefly touches the soldering iron, it will melt it. A few bristles together and the brush will start to stick when applying flux to wire tips that are around existing connections when repairing/reflowing/modifying existing electronics and circuit boards.
