A few tips: - To secure pipe connections I would recommend using long Pro-Grade or XL (extra long) brass adapters with 12 barbs that allow you to install three clamps for each connection - use wide Pro- Grade clamps but not Home Depot clamps - To strengthen the clamps (so they don't come loose) I like to put tape over the clamps. This pump was packaged very well. Styrofoam border and double box. Also included was a roll of waterproof tape and a roll of teflon tape and 3 marine grade butt joints (they were useless and terrible quality) but they were free. Buy your own 3m connections. Installation was pretty easy. I had to disconnect the motor from the pump to replace the pathetic ground wire. This should happen first. I've never seen a company use such a tiny ground wire.
