It helps control the amount of cat litter that ends up on our floors outside the tub. It doesn't 100% prevent dirt from splashing, but it helps a lot.

This mat does pick up most of the dirt but it still slides everywhere even when I put some of it under the tray. It's also a bit too small. Overall I'm still happy with my purchase.

I was hoping it would be a lot easier to clean but it isn't. Dirt and debris get stuck deep in the grooves of the mat and are difficult to remove. But it's a good size and it's sticky so it stays in place.

Much smaller than the same brand, 2-3 times more for the same price at Walmart. If I had paid more attention to the size, I would never have bought these. Too small to even be effective.

It tends to get dirt underneath so it doesn't protect the wooden floor and urine can get in. This slightly reduces the scatter within the box-in-box litter box I have. I still sweep the area around with a broom every day so it didn't help much in solving this problem.

Despite some negative reviews I read, I took the chance and ordered this rug. It was rolled up as shown in the picture but it didn't take more than a couple of hours to straighten and once that was done everything worked very well. Our kitten accepted the new mat in front of the tray with no problem. This mat may not catch 100% of the dirt from the cat's paws when it comes out, but it's a lot better than the previous one we've used. I am very happy with this rug because it means cleaner floors…

I chose this mat because it is color matched to a tray. That's the only thing I'm not disappointed with! However, I have a similar rug from another company which is heavier and therefore lays flat and stays in place! Much more practical. This Arm & Hammer mat slides easily (even when tucked partially under the tray) and the packaging's creases remain intact even if a heavy object is placed on it overnight. Got the color I wanted, but I wouldn't recommend this brand as its looks and utility…
