This Haoge is similar to the compatible JJC but with a lower profile and better material (IMO). It also costs more than the JJC model. You will get along well with everyone. Note that this lens hood (and any lens hood) will partially block the flash of your x100(x)'s built-in flash when you use it. This lens hood is of good construction and quality but unfortunately it does not fit the lens cap that comes with the X100V. The lens hood itself works fine on the X100V and the lens hood also accepts the B+W XS-PRO Nano UV filter but just doesn't work with the OEM lens cap that comes with the X100V as the OEM lens cap is slightly larger is as he is . I bought this set mainly to expand the filter. I tried using just the filter on my X100F but when I tried to focus close I kept getting a focus error and I had to restart the camera. Because when the filter is mounted directly on the camera, the lens doesn't have enough wiggle room to move when focusing. This X100V lens hood does what it says: it shields the lens to prevent flare. It also doesn't block the built-in flash, which is fantastic. There are two minor issues: 1.
