Description of 📸 Haoge LH-X51W Ultra-Thin Lens Hood with Adapter Ring Set - Ideal for Fuji Fujifilm FinePix X100V Camera Silver

Ultra-thin designed for Fujifilm Fuji X100V. The adapter ring facilitates the attachment of the lens hood or a 49MM thread filter to the lens. In addition, the original FUJIFILM lens cap can be mount onto the lens hood, so you can use the original lens cap without removing the hood. Note: To use the lens hood, the user has to remove the ring on the top of the lens of Fujifilm X100V. Note: It can't be used for Fujifilm X70 X100 X100S X100T X100F.

is working. low profile good with OVF

Everything works as it should in this kit, both the ring and the cover. The benefit of this type of shadowing is that it obscures the optical viewfinder less than other shadowed lenses for this camera. Fujifilm's lens cap fits perfectly on the lens hood.

Good quality: Accessories

I was looking for a hood that wasn't that big. I never liked square hoods. This was one of the best accessory purchases for my x100f. Not only is it small, it fits the lens perfectly, and the original Fuji lens cap fits snugly on top! Workmanship and quality are also excellent and better than expected. I only noticed it with this hood, but after that it makes a big difference in handling. This adds extra grip to the hold. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheap at all. If you are looking for a…

High quality, low profile

This Haoge is similar to the compatible JJC but with a lower profile and better material (IMO). It also costs more than the JJC model. You will get along well with everyone. Note that this lens hood (and any lens hood) will partially block the flash of your x100(x)'s built-in flash when you use it. But any adapter ring you put on will interfere with the flash to some degree. If I need to use the built-in flash, I just take off the lens hood. If you want to use a 49mm filter, you can flip the…

Great looking and comfortable for the X100V

This all metal cover is just what I was looking for to add style and functionality to my Fuji X100V. Once the standard filter adapter ring is removed from the front of the fixed lens, this new ring and lens hood fit perfectly without adding too much extra depth to the camera. In addition, the original X100V lens cap fits this new lens hood (see pictures in my review). My main concern was to add a UV filter to protect the lens and keep the full silver look. I can confirm that a thin UV filter…

Even with the lens cap/adapter, the X70 can be carried in your pocket!

I really enjoy taking pictures with my X70. So when I saw this lens cap in a YouTube video, I knew it would be perfect for my X70. The original lens cap that comes with the camera is rubbish. However, Haoge lets you shoot with a combination of lens cap and adapter because of the hole. Filter adapter with standard thread size 49mm also available in silver. This silver combination works very well with silver X70. You can also put the original Fuji lens cap on this kit and it still fits in your…

Good product but not suitable for X100V lens cap!

This lens hood is of good construction and quality but unfortunately it does not fit the lens cap that comes with the X100V. The lens hood itself works fine on the X100V and the lens hood also accepts the B+W XS-PRO Nano UV filter but just doesn't work with the OEM lens cap that comes with the X100V as the OEM lens cap is slightly larger is as he is . Hood so it doesn't hold up at all. So if you're looking for one that fits the lens cap of the X100V, look elsewhere! Update 3/5: Decided to try…

Works with built in filter plus: great fit and color match

I bought this set mainly to expand the filter. I tried using just the filter on my X100F but when I tried to focus close I kept getting a focus error and I had to restart the camera. Because when the filter is mounted directly on the camera, the lens doesn't have enough wiggle room to move when focusing. Use the Haoge lens hood, which allows the filter glass to expand a few extra millimeters. I checked the focus after installing the extension and now the errors are gone which is great. Another…

Low profile, no flash blocking, a few issues but otherwise great

This X100V lens hood does what it says: it shields the lens to prevent flare. It also doesn't block the built-in flash, which is fantastic. There are two minor issues: 1. Although the original X100V cap fits on the lens hood, it doesn't hold nearly as well as a camera without a lens hood. The reason seems to be related to the chamfer around the hood on the outside. The bevel allows the cap to be moved very easily by also exerting a slight pressure on the outer edge of the cap when putting it…

Pros
  • Great build
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Hmm. It was a near perfect purchase for my FujiFilm X100F - my only gripe is cosmetics. The mount steps look good, the silver color matches FujiFilm's OEM color exactly, and the lens hood helps keep the camera's profile small. The only disappointment was that the front of the hood appears to have a slight paint flaw. The photos don't show this, but there are faint lines forming a cross on the inner beveled part of the front of the hood. This can be the result of a lens hood or incomplete…
