It would be superfluous to talk about a minimalist knife, what you see is what you get. It's lightweight, easy to use, well balanced and looks very cool. The sharpness doesn't bother me, although it is. Lightness is perhaps the most notable feature. This 5.3" full shaft utility knife from Hast is a quality utility knife that I use every day. for example cutting small and medium-sized fruits and vegetables and much more. While I don't consider a utility knife as essential as a chef's knife, paring knife or bread knife, I use it frequently and it's a great addition to my collection as I find its size handy for many everyday tasks. This is my first non-serrated utility knife, so I would get a lot more use out of it if it worked for me as well

UPDATE: About six months later my Hast utility knife developed a rust spot and a small corrosion pit. My other utility knife, Hast, is also rusting.
