Helly Hansen Womens Jacket Medium Review

Bought this for my daughter to wear under a soccer jersey most of the time on cold rainy days. It was a little big for her and didn't offer enough breathability. I ended up coming back for a slightly smaller and lighter brand that works great. I have the male version and I love it.

I got this rain code because I was a disaster insurer and I traveled to quite humid places. I kept it in the back of my car and it was easy to travel with. It has saved me from drowning many times. Highly recommended if you are looking for a traditional fully waterproof rain jacket.

I live in New England, will be in the UK soon. Needed a new raincoat after a horribly rainy trip to Norway and this fitted the bill! More flexible and less malleable than I expected. Very comfortable and good protection from rain. There is a zipper and buttons (a must for me). I also like the light gray color.

I always wear a size larger when I wear Helly Hansen women's clothing. I usually wear medium in Helly. I ordered a large one so I can layer it up - it's very, very large and oversized. However excellent quality. In the end I left the size large to look plus size and to be able to layer on cold rainy days. Ideal for outdoor adventures on the horizon. Great jacket, great color and great wind and rain protection. Fantastic find!

Wish I could give 3.5 stars, definitely 5 stars because it's REALLY WATERPROOF! I finally found a jacket for my commute at PNW. A zip would be a huge benefit for a comfortable fit, fit and breathability - a more flared fit is needed at the bottom to prevent water running right down the jacket and onto your hips as you walk and wicking up some of your pants at very heavy rain - something more than a roomy hood would be great to leave more room for a knit hat - the hood should have a tight shank…
