Absolute trash. Do not buy. These should be quality knives for the home cook. As a professional chef, I bought them for my son's first apartment. He is skilled with a knife, which should never have happened. What waste. I would give zero points if it were possible. Luckily it wasn't cut. What did he cut? Surimi. Nowhere softer. Pooh. Look at the picture. Now I buy real quality. wustof.

Very disappointed with this purchase. Henckels knives came highly recommended to me so I decided to buy a few for my new home. Having moved house I packed them up when I got them and having only recently moved I've been so happy to use my new knives but they suck. They cut very poorly, feel very dull, but because they are serrated they are not easy to sharpen. I wish I had wasted my money now I have more money for new knives.

Knives are good enough. My wife bought them without realizing they were serrated so I can't use them on my cutting board without shredding it. However, the knives are not to blame. My only complaint is the scissor hole. The scissors go in there very freely and actually rest against the knives that are further down the block. Don't waste your money. They're full, you have to saw through every piece you're trying to cut, and while they feel comfortable, are a good weight and look good, that's about all they have. They cannot be sharpened because they are all serrated, even a chef's knife. Complete waste of my money. I always thought it was my beautiful Pampered Chef knives that didn't come with the set, but that wasn't the case. It was just crap. I ended up replacing them with a Cuisinart set which was about $15 more

Honestly these knives are terrible and have eroded my respect for Henckel's design and quality. I have used many Henckels knives and had no problems with any of them before ordering this set. However, all of these knives are serrated and almost useless for cutting. They don't cut through anything without sawing, and the raised areas between the teeth don't cut through.
