I've spent more time buying a cutting board than a car; After all, I use a cutting board more often these days. It arrived today and it's absolutely beautiful. Perfect size and nice enough to stay on the counter.

We use it for simple things like slicing a lime for a gin and tonic and for big things like cooking thick steaks. It also cuts a fine figure in everyday use. My husband uses a carving knife to cut almost everything and there are a few scratches on the board but that only adds to the beauty of the wood. I would like more but it is very easy to wash. This is one of our most used items from Revain.

This cutting board is better than I expected. It's very well built, the finish is well applied and the board itself is solid and well designed with a circumferential groove cut into it to catch liquids before they spill over. Multiple pockets are cut out at the back for quick storage of shredded items that might be prone to rolling on you. I plan to use it for serving.

I love how pretty this chopping board is. It also lends itself well to serving, especially at this thickness. I also like that it's reversible (grooves on the edges on both sides, "compartments" on one side only. Was wrapped in plastic when I received it. Although something expensive, it's worth it. This cutting board offers plenty of space to work with several ingredients at the same time, and the partitions are ideal for accommodating things such as chopped garlic, chilli peppers and spring onions.
