I have 2 Roomba (models 700 and 800). I have run them 3 times a week on each floor for the past 3 years. These rollers are just as good as Roomba's original rollers. I wish we could ONLY buy the black ones because they run out twice as fast as the light gray ones. This is an area where nobody sells all black.

I had no problem fitting these casters to my Roomba 980. They worked great for the first week - pulling out a lot more than my worn out reels. However, after about 2 weeks I noticed a diminishing effect and after 3 weeks the rollers were noticeably worn. My previous rollers lasted at least 3 months before showing so much wear. I've had great luck with iRobot replacement parts for filters and brushes, so I expected the extractors to be just as good. Unfortunately, these extractors are MUCH NOISY. Once installed, my Roomba makes a lot of extra noise while vacuuming my tile floors, to the point where it's very distracting. To be honest it sounds like the plastic doesn't quite fit and is rubbing against either another hood or the bottom of the Rumba.
