Phenomenal for long backpacking trips

After using this product for a year and hundreds of miles, I have decided to write a review. Life. I struggled with blisters even after investing in quality socks and boots until I started using HikeGoo and now I recommend it to everyone. It's a lotion, not a powder, and it's waterproof. It reduces friction on the skin to the point where I rarely experience a hot spot anymore. An app helps you cover 12 miles without a hitch or a full day on a hike. It's a staple in my tool box.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Low repairability

Great product, buy it if you walk a lot

I compared two products and this is the best for me. I used to get blisters every time I ran a few miles, now with this cream I don't. What I do is apply the cream, then a tight thin sock over my feet and finally a thicker sock over the thinner one, helps with no pain, no blisters and no discomfort at all. EDIT 15th August 2015 - Just got back from a 2 week holiday in the UK where I walked A LOT every day and used this product every day and it did what it was supposed to do to prevent your feet

Disney World Foot Miracle

This sticky white thing works wonders. I can't overdo it. I had a miracle leg. My family goes to Disney World every two years and every time I go I get huge painful blisters on the balls of my feet, even under my toes. I finally realized that I need more than just good shoes and socks, I need a foot care plan. I started browsing the web and Revain and came across this product. Since they have several types (WalkGoo, RunGoo and HikeGoo) I wasn't sure which one would suit me and asked the seller…

Hiking is a game changer for me

I have an odd foot shape so my hiking shoes don't fit me. This caused me to get blisters on almost every long hike. Instead of spending a lot of money on an expensive new shoe, I chose Hike Goo last year and now I am completely convinced. Since then I haven't had a single blister. Mind you, this is the case during regular hikes of 15+ miles. I was pleasantly surprised at how long the first tube I bought lasted (almost a year). I know my hot spots (big and little toes) so I apply them liberally…

The best way to prevent corns!

This product is a game changer. My feet are seriously bothered - if I walk more than a few miles a day I get huge painful blisters under the balls of my feet. This summer I was in Europe for 3 weeks and I was afraid my legs would ruin the trip. I used this material every day and made it through the trip without blisters. I was really shocked, it worked just as well as it did! Yes, it's a bit rough, and yes, it feels like you're stepping into something soft first, but this stuff really works! I…

3 days of hiking, no blisters!

I did my first hike in Zion, Bryce Canyon and Kanab, Utah. I tried to break in my new walking shoes but ended up only wearing them around the house once for a couple of hours. I ordered Hiking Goo because I didn't want to get blisters on a multi-day hike. Did I mention I've never done long hikes before? Every morning I applied this goo to both legs and walked for 10-12 hours every day. Did my legs hurt? Yes. Was I completely exhausted? Absolutely. But did I have blisters? NO! 10/10 would…
