We love them hanging string lights from the gutters on the deck. We usually replace them every 2 years because they are exposed to direct sunlight all day and become brittle after a while.

These clips work well. I had to find a better type as the ones I bought from Lowes were wearing out from the UV exposure and were just cracking and falling apart. They seem to be stronger and much easier to get into the gutters or under the shingles.

Love this clip style for aligning the lights with the roofline. They fit (almost perfectly) onto the decor clips I bought from Target last year. This helped me attach a new set of lights and line up the lights consistently. I use Philips 80 LED C9 Multicolor lamps.

Much easier to attach each individual light than other clamps we've had (and haven't had) that required you to unscrew a piece and snap into place. My fingers hurt so much after 200 of these lights. We bought 150 of these lights and they lasted about 1/5 the time and didn't hurt my fingers! We found that we were missing a few brackets. We supplied 3 sets of 50 bulbs each and 4 had no clips for the last 4 bulbs. It's not a big factor for me, but we had to make every other light for the last 8…
