I bought two of these for the house. The first one was a bit loose so I figured I'd just add a 1/2" x 1/4" gasket to hold it in place. I have used K&N automotive fluid and air filters for many years. I was very curious to try this new offering for my home HVAC system. The size of this 14x24x1 filter is just a hair smaller than the 3M disposable MERV-12 filters I've used. I agree with most reviewers who have stated that this may not be ideal if you have a ceiling register filter as that filter is not really a snug fit.
