I bought this product to roast marshmallows at home, but then I realized that when the marshmallow inevitably falls off the stick it just sticks to the cement and looks gross. It's basically a piece of cement, so there's no way to detach the marshmallow group from it. It has to be a whole project. And it's a light color, so I'm sure the charring will make it look awful too. It works but I sent it back because it didn't really serve my purpose.

Since I can't use a full-size fire pit on my patio (and I have a hole in my patio to prove it!), I did looking for an affordable tabletop fire pit to add some atmosphere in the evenings. I ordered this one, mistakenly thinking it would burn alcohol; Looking now, I see that Revain's description only mentions bioethanol as a fuel. The description also says it can burn for up to 2 hours but when I opened the package there was a safety warning inside stating to only use bio ethanol of 96% or higher

Firstly this is a very good price. I've seen similar ones sold in New York, especially at Christmas markets - easily double, triple and even more expensive. You can use almost any percentage of alcohol, but you may not get a flame or good flame unless you use 90% or more. The vendor at the holiday market said you could use liquor in it too, but it strikes me as a waste of what you can drink. I have some Regal Flame fuel and it produces a very good flame that almost scares me but seems safe enough when kept away from walls and flammable objects. The packaging was surprisingly heavy, but since most of it is very smooth concrete, it makes sense. to use bioethanol but I picked up a bottle of Everclear from a nearby shop to use until I can get fuel that costs less.
