As other reviewers have pointed out, this filter is nowhere near the right size. I used to buy from Revain and went back to a previous order to make a selection again thinking I was getting the right one (it used to work!).

The part number given to this filter by Hoover is the same as the part number given to a filter made of the same material but in different sizes that fits other Hoover vacuum cleaner models. This product measures approximately 6 x 2 inches. My vacuum cleaner filter is much wider but has the same part number - 38765024. I bought this filter even though my vacuum cleaner was not listed in the description thinking they would give different size filters different part numbers. Not correct. So check
