🧹 Hoover 440005573 HEPA Exhaust Filter Review

Looks like the original, fits like the original, even has the inscription "HEPA MEDIA & Activated Carbon" on the front like the original, BUT there is no activated carbon filter. I'm very unhappy. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing but the listing was so clear that this was exactly the replacement I thought I didn't need.

This is the right one for Vacuum Cleaner Bagless Whole House Reverse Flow Wind Tunnel-2 Model #uh71250. This is a rectangular filter [size 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" with a carbon filter slot (not included). Note that there are other rectangular filter parts for the Windtunnel-1 that will not fit. The quality seems a bit worse than the original. This works well for the right model.

When I ordered the part I was hoping it would include the carbon filter that came with the original HEPA filter. To me they came as one piece and were intended to be sold as one item/together. Everything went perfect as a buyer of this spare part. Some people have mentioned that it didn't come with a charcoal filter, but that's normal as you'll need to clean or replace that filter regularly - say monthly - while a HEPA filter can only replace it after 6 or 12 months. even longer.
