🧺 Hoover Type K Canister 2 Ply Vacuum Paper Bags - Pack of 3 Review

I have a Hoover Spirit upright vacuum that I bought in 1994. It is very difficult to find bags for this machine due to its age, but it would be a shame to refuse a vacuum cleaner that still works well. Fortunately, I was able to find suitable bags and will continue to use the vacuum cleaner.

I tried to buy the item shown. Note the label on the front, which the manufacturer says is made in the USA. However, the item I received was a different brand made in China! Unfortunately, these bags are cheaper and not as functional. A classic case of bait and switch.

They work much better than the 'universal' brands that 'claim' to fit those vintage Hoover vacuums. The quality of these original official Hoover bags is much higher, right down to the weight of the cardboard collar which has to "snap and hold well" in order for the bags to even be used. I'm just glad there are still such after so many years! I've had my Hoover Spirit since 1986! It has been repaired once or twice and vacuum cleaners of recent years may have more power.
