Very nice little filter for the price!

This mesh bag is very good at keeping dirt and roots out of the pump and the quality is worth the price. I ran mine through the ring gauge, admittedly I had a root rot problem in my hydroponic setup that seemed to love the mesh so much that there were a couple of heavy patches of stink weed. To clean the unit I had to remove the filter and soak it in bleach overnight and the next day it was like new! I have since ordered another one for a separate installation! NOTE. does what i wanted.

picks, helps my small pump not clog up easily. but the edges of the bag stick to the pump so I have to go out and get off the pump every day :-( guess I need a little wire cage to keep it away from the pump body? on the side of the bag so the top of the well can stick out , but that doesn't seem to be a problem. So stay away. String hole. Nobody decides what happens to the drain. Without the top of the fountain I guess it would just squirt through the bag? but so my hummingbird shower should be

They filter well but require a small design change and are medium in size.

This is a pretty good filter bag. Well made, good material. It has multiple layers and my pump fits. Barely. This is when small is too small and big is too big. I'll take wednesday please 8.5 by 11 inches. The only real downside to the bag is the drawstring. It's the worst - too short, tied with an idiotic knot and NO clip. It is very difficult to attach, it is too short to tie without untying the knot and risking escaping the rope. The clamp must be passive, with no metal as it is submerged in
