House Home More Skid Resistant Carpet Review

Very nice! My apartment has a long kitchen with a galley and hard-to-clean white tile floors. This runner was easy to flip and lay down. Low pile but not uncomfortable. The non-slip backing is great. Easy to clean, I use my Bissell cross shaft combo with/or wet carpet cleaner. Liked the color, dark beige with a light terracotta rim.

I bought this rail in front of the patio doors. I have three of the same smaller size in my other porches and love them. However, this one came with a few catches that weren't bad enough to return. I've had the skids for about six months now and since then the bracket has started to separate from the edge of the slider. The gap is about 8-12 inches long. I am very disappointed as I love other runners.

I ordered this mat to put under my computer desk as I have a computer chair with casters. On hardwood, the chair moves too easily, so I need a rug that fits exactly the width of the space under my desk, which is 27 inches. Broad. An inch too small will cause one of the wheels on my chair to roll off the carpet because it's not wide enough. I am returning this rug. The manufacturer of this rug incorrectly advertises the width of their product on the packaging.

Our new apartment has neat wooden floors and much to the chagrin of my old and arthritic dog he has difficulty walking on or getting up from a lying position. They fit perfectly in the areas he has to traverse and we are both very happy with these well made and finished runners. They are supported so there is no slipping or skidding. Central hallway in my old house (1938) made of hardwood that is slippery with bare feet or socks. The entrance is tiled; very slippery ground with high humidity and possibly wet toes. Twice in 20 years I've been sent to the emergency room. The tiles should be replaced. They've had JCP runners in the past, but they invariably lose their grip and glide.
