When I replace a toner cartridge, I order a replacement cartridge. I ordered it in June and was supposed to install it today and it's the stock toner. I guess since the return time has already expired I just lost $250. Usually the HOP tiner is great, but in this case the top quarter of the page is just black.

Approximately 17,500 copies? Not even close. We've printed 4,000 copies and we're running out of ink! Perhaps the average person doesn't realize that they won't print 17,500 pages from a single cartridge, but we thought this cartridge would hold up to our print job. Our pages are not black screens and only take up about 30% of the page. We shook the cartridge three more times to try to use up most of our order, but it didn't even come close.
