Generates a lot of airflow but makes a lot of noise. Using it for hydroponics and 8 ports is great, but trying to turn it on to get decent aeration causes a loud buzzing noise that can be heard throughout the house to the point my wife almost made me do it would have to go back. I'm still looking for other quieter options.

These are powerful yet quiet units that don't get as hot as other commercial units I have. When I say quieter I mean A LOT, instead of a loud high-pitched hum they make a very quiet sound. They are actually quieter than the dual port pumps I have from Walmart. They are MUCH bigger than I thought from the pictures, that's my only "minus". They are huge but not very heavy. Each can service 15-16 10 gallon sponge filters. I will definitely buy many more of these.

This has to be the biggest pump we've ever asked for value for money. huge air pump so we plugged it in and the pressure seems fine, it doesn't look like anything is missing but after a while after plugging it in it seems like we're losing some of our air pressure, we do not sure what that is, but all bubblers bubble all feed valves. This is one of the quietest air pumps and 8 ports installed is much better than industrial looking air pumps with hose and 8 or 12 way couplers. Best of all, after 2 years of continuous 24/7 use, it still works today. I've had some industrial looking versions of Vivosun and the like and they don't last that long.
